When my son first saw the 4th of  July Owl he said: Oh, the Captain America Owl is for me! But when I finished the owl he asked me: Is this the Captain? I said: No. And my son answered: I see now, that is the United States Flag.

I promised to show you more owls’ patterns. And today I want to share with you the 4th of  July Owl (not Captain America)))) crochet pattern. She is sweet and bright and patriotic!

Assembling

Embroider 6 stars with white color yarn on the blue side. Then sew the eyes with white color yarn.

Make some stitches with yellow color yarn for the beak. Sew the wings with white color yarn.

Now join your two “owl” parts wrong sides together. Try to line up them up so they match. You are going to sc around the outside of them to attach them and you want to them to be perfectly lined up. Now stick your hook through both sides and pull the yarn through and sc with the white color.

Sc in each stitch space of both sides around. Make 2sc on the corners of owl’s ears and on the bottom corners.

But leave a hole to stuff the owl with toy filling firmly. And then finish to join parts. Break yarn and fasten off. You owl is ready!
