Who can be better than Santa? Only 3 Santas!))) A fabulous family will decorate any home, and not just for Christmas. This cheerful company looks good both near the Christmas tree, on the shelf, and on the mantelpiece. After all, next to Santa, children’s faith in miracles, in snow magic, in Miracle and a fairy tale comes to life … Dreams come true, you just have to believe! So let’s take our hook and start!

PATTERN.

Materials:

  • Any cotton 100% Weight/Yardage 50g/137yds: Cascade Ultra Pima Fine, 100% cotton or Schachenmayr Catania, etc. 1 ball of red color and 1 ball of the white color, small amount of black color. And a small amount of Patons UK 100% Cotton 4 Ply Yarn white color to make beard and mustache.
  • Size D/3 (3 mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Single core copper electrical wire for a frame – I used 90 cm (36 inches) of wire 1 mm in diameter for the frame of the body, adhesive plaster for machining the edges of wire.
  • Cutting pliers: especially useful for cutting the electric wire to the desired length, flat-nose pliers: not mandatory but very useful for bending the ends.
  • Scissors
  • Stuffing.

ch – chain

st st – slip stitch

sc – single crochet

Instructions.

The doll consists of 3 Santa nestle one another. In this post we will make the smallest one. 🎅🎁🎄You can find the Medium Doll HERE and the Large Doll HERE.

Increase rounds.

Round 1: Magic ring with red color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)

Round 2:  2 sc in each stitch around. (12 sts)

Round 3: Mark the first stitch using a removable marker. *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st* repeat around. (18 sts). Move marker. Use markers each next round.

Round 4: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 sts* repeat around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 5 (working in the back loop only):  Sc in each stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 6: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts* repeat around. (28 sts). Change the color. Move marker.

Round 7:  Sc with black color in each stitch around. (28 sts). Move marker.

Round 8: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 6 sts* repeat around. (32 sts). Change the color. Move marker.

Round 9: Sc with red color  in each stitch around. (32 sts). Move marker.

Round 10-12: repeat round 9.

Sew the buckle with yellow color yarn.

Decrease rounds.

Round 13: *2 sc together in next st, 1 sc in next 6 sts* repeat around. (28 sts). Move marker.

Round 14: Sc in each stitch around. (28 sts). Change the color. Move marker.

Round 15: *2 sc with white color together in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts* repeat around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 16:  Sc in each stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Place inside of the center a small coin for stability.

Increase rounds.

Round 17: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts* repeat around. (28 sts). Move marker.

Round 18: Sc in each stitch around. (28 sts). Move marker.

Round 19:  *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 6 sts* repeat around. (32 sts). Move marker.

Round 20: Sc in each stitch around. (32 sts). Move marker.

Beard and mustache.

Chain 14 with Patons UK 100% Cotton. Break yarn. Repeat 4 more times. So you have 5 small chains. Sew them the way you can see at the picture below.

Sew the nose with red color and the eyes with black color.

Decrease rounds.

Round 21: *2 sc together in next st, 1 sc in next 6 sts* repeat around. (28 sts). Change the color. Move marker.

Round 22: *2 sc with red color together in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts* repeat around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 23: *2 sc together in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts* repeat around. (20 sts). Move marker.

Stuff the Santa.

Round 24: *2 sc together in next st, 1 sc in next 3 sts* repeat around. (16 sts). Move marker.

Round 25: *2 sc together in next st, 1 sc in next 2 sts* repeat around. (12 sts). Move marker.

Round 26: Sc in each stitch around. (12 sts). Move marker.

Round 27: 2 sc in each stitch around. (6 sts). Sew the end of the hat with red color yarn and sew the white pompon. Break yarn and fasten off.
