You need to place inside of the center some weight material for stability. I had nothing suitable and I used 2 coins which I wind with an adhesive plaster between two circles which are cut out from cardboard. Let’s sew to the bottom the small round we made before.
Continue to crochet our bottom part. Cut off a wire about 21 cm (8,5 inches) long, bend a circle near the 5,5 cm (2,2 inches) in diameter, wind the ends with an adhesive plaster as you can see at the picture below.
Round 12: Crochet over the wire. *2 sc with red color in next st, 1 sc in next 7 sts* repeat around. (54 sts). You must remember that the twisting place must be on the back of Santa’s.
Round 13: Sc in each stitch around. (54 sts). Move marker. Sew the buckle with yellow color yarn.
Round 14-19: repeat round 13.
Round 20: 1 sc in next 48 sts, 1 ss in next 6 sts. Break yarn and fasten off.
With red yarn *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts* repeat around (working in the front loop of Round 6). Break yarn and fasten off.
Head.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around. (24 sts)
Round 3: Sc in each stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.
Round 4: repeat round 3.
Round 5: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 sts* repeat around. (32 sts). Move marker.
Round 6: Sc in each stitch around. (32 sts). Move marker.
Round 7: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 3 sts* repeat around. (40 sts). Move marker.
Round 8: Sc in each stitch around. (40 sts). Move marker.
Round 9: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts* repeat around. (48 sts). Move marker
Round 10: Sc in each stitch around. (48 sts). Change the color. Move marker.
Round 11: Sc with white color in each stitch around. (48 sts). Move marker.
Cut off a wire about 21 cm (8,5 inches) long, bend a circle near the 5,5 cm (2,2 inches) in diameter, wind the ends with an adhesive plaster as you can see at the picture below.
Round 12: Crochet over the wire. Sc in each stitch around. (48 sts). Move marker. You must remember that the twisting place must be on the back of Santa’s.
Round 13: Sc in each stitch around. (48 sts).
Round 14-17: repeat round 13.
Round 18: * 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts* repeat around. (56 sts). Move marker.
Round 19: Sc in each stitch around. (56 sts). Move marker.
Round 20: Sc with red color in each stitch around. (56 sts). Move marker.
Round 21: 1 sc in next 50 sts, 1 ss in next 6 sts. Break yarn and fasten off.
Beard and mustache.
Round 1: Magic ring with Patons UK 100% Cotton white color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)
Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
Round 3: Mark the first stitch using a removable marker. *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st* repeat around. (18 sts). Move marker.
Round 4: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st*repeat 4 times. Break yarn and fasten off.
Make three parts.
Let’s decorate our beard and mustache. I used slip stiches.
And I ended up with that:
Sew the beard and the mustache to the face. Then sew the eyes and the nose.
Make the small pompon with Patons UK 100% Cotton white color and sew it to the head.
