I want to show you today how to crochet the Heart Zig Zag Stitch.

PATTERN.
Materials I used 2 Fine or Sport weight yarn and an B crochet hook. You can use any yarn you like and matching hook.
Abbreviations
US Crochet terms
sc – single crochet
ch – chain
st – stitch
dc – double crochet
sc2tog – single crochet 2 together
FPdc – front post dc
Start with chain multiples of 13 + 12 stitches.
Skill Level: Medium
Instructions (in US crochet terms)
Row 1: skip the first stitch and make 1 sc into the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next 4 sts, *3 sc in the next st,
sc in the next 5 sts, skip 2 sts and sc in the next 5 sts* repeat till the last 6 sts. Make 3 sc in the next st, sc in the last 5 sts. Turn your work.
Row 2: *Ch 1, single crochet 2 together, sc in the next 4 sts,
*3 sc in the next st, sc in the next 5 sts, skip 2 sts and sc in the next 5 sts* repeat till the last 6 sts. Make 3 sc in the next st, sc in the last 4 sts, sc 2 together. Change the color. To change the colors begin your last 2 single crochet and then finish it with the new color yarn. Turn your work.
Row 3-4: Repeat Row 2 with blue color. Change the color at the end of the 4th row.
Row 5: Ch 1 with white color yarn, single crochet 2 together, sc in the next st,
*front post dc into the 1st sc from 3 sc we made on the top of the last white color row (black arrows at the picture above ), front post dc into the 2nd sc from 3 sc we made on the top,
1 sc in the 1st sc of the previous 3 sc (look at the picture below), 3 sc in the next st, sc in the next st.
Front post dc into the same place that we made our 2nd FPdc (black arrow at the 2nd picture above) , FPdc in the next st of the white row (look at the picture below).
Sc in the next 2 sts, skip 2 sts, sc in the next 2 sts. Repeat till the end. But at the end after 2 FPdc, sc in the next st and single crochet 2 together. Turn your work.
Repeat Rows 2 – 5 for pattern.
