  • Any cotton 100% Weight/Yardage 50g/137yds: Cascade Ultra Pima Fine, 100% cotton or Schachenmayr Catania, etc.
  • Size D/3 (3 mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Instructions.

Head.

Round 1: Magic ring with light brown color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)

Round 2: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (12 sts)

Round 3: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 4: sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 5: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st* repeat around. (36 sts). Move marker.

Round 6: sc in each chain stitch around. (36 sts). Move marker.

Round 7: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st* repeat around. (54 sts). Move marker. Change the color.

Round 8: with white color yarn sc in each chain stitch around. (54 sts). Break yarn and fasten off.

Make 2nd head only with white color yarn.

Ears.

Round 1: Magic ring with white color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)

Round 2:  2 sc in each chain stitch around. (12 sts)

Round 3: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts)

Round 4: sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts)

Then 5 sc and ss. Break yarn and fasten off.

Make 4 ears.

Beard.

Round 1: Magic ring with white color, chain 3, 8 dc in ring and pull tight. Turn. (9 sts)

Row 2:  Ch 3, 1 dc in the same st, *2 dc in next st* repeat 7 times (16 sts) Turn.

Row 3:  Ch 3, 1 dc in the same st, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st * repeat 7 times, (23 sts).

Ch 2, dc in the next 2 sts, ch 2, ss in the same st,  *ch 2, dc in the next 3 sts, ch 2, ss in the same st* repeat 2 times, then ch 2, dc in the next 2 sts, 1 tr in the next st, dc in the next 2 sts, ch 2, ss in the same st, *ch 2, dc in the next 3 sts, ch 2, ss in the same st* repeat 3 times. Break yarn and fasten off.

Mustache.

Row 1: Magic ring with white color, chain 3, 3 dc in the ring and pull tight. Turn. (4 sts)

Row 2:  chain 3, dc in the next 3 sts. Turn. (4 sts)

Row 3:  chain 3, dc in the next 3 sts. Turn. (4 sts)

Row 4:  chain 3, dc in the next 3 sts together. Turn.

Make 2 parts.

Hat.

Row 1: Sc with white color in the next 14 sts. Turn. Change the color.

Row 2: Sc with red color in the 2nd st, sc in the next 12 sts. Turn.

Row 3: Sc in the 2nd st, sc in the next 11 sts. Turn.

Row 4: Sc in the 2nd st, sc in the next 10 sts. Turn.

Row 5: 10 tr in the 5th st.  Ss in the last st. Break yarn and fasten off.

Make hats on the both heads.

Pom Pom

 Make a small yarn Pom Pom with white color yarn.

Assembling

Sew the ears to the head with white color yarn. Sew the beard and the mustache with white color yarn.

Sew the nose (For the nose: Magic ring with red color yarn and then 7 sc in ring and pull tight)  with red color yarn and pompom with white color yarn.

So you have 2 heads with ears: one head is with decoration and with beard, other is just plain. Sew 2 heads together using needle and white color yarn. And sew the hat using red color.
