One of my passion is reading and I read books to my kids every evening. Surely we read fairy-tales and adventures stories. That’s why my children love Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow and Tin Man. If you love “Wizard of Oz” as much as I do you just need to make the Cowardly Lion! Sharing his pattern with you today.

You can use the ornament for making the Disney pin, magnet, hairpin or backpack clip. You can also use it for decoration of Christmas tree, tag for suitcase in Disney cruise, jewelry (using thinner yarn), bookmarks.

Sew the nose with brown color yarn. Make some stitches to give the nose a more oblong shape.

Then let’s make the mouth with brown color yarn and slip stitches as you can see at the pictures below. When you reach the nose (make the first part of the mouth) pull the loop on the wrong side, skip 1 st and then pull it on the right side and continue working. If you don’t make this your mouth will not have the right shape.

Sew 2 stitches with brown color yarn to finish the smile.

Sew the medal and the bow with red color yarn to the head. So you have 2 heads with ears: one head is with decoration, other is just plain. Sew 2 heads together using needle and light brown color yarn.
