For a long time people asked me to make Harry Potter. And finally I made Harry and his best friend Ron Weasley crochet pattern. Using the 1 pattern you can make 2 ornaments. So I’m sharing it with you today!
You can use the ornament for making the Easter brooch, magnet, hairpin or backpack clip. You can also use it for decoration of Christmas tree, tag for suitcase in Disney cruise, jewelry (using thinner yarn), bookmarks.

PATTERN.
The ornament consists of 2 parts of head and 4 parts of ears. Ok, let’s start!
Materials:
- Any cotton 100% Weight/Yardage 50g/137yds: Cascade Ultra Pima Fine, 100% cotton or Schachenmayr Catania, etc.
- Size D/3 (3 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations (US terms):
ch ā chain
st st ā slip stitch
sc ā single crochet
dc ā double crochet
sk ā skip
st(s) ā stitch(es)

Instructions.
Head.
Round 1: Magic ring with white color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)
Round 2: 2scin each chain stitch around. (12 sts)
Round 3: 2scin each chain stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.
Round 4:sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.
Round 5: *2 sc in next st, 1sc in next st*repeat around. (36 sts). Move marker.
Round 6: sc in each chain stitch around. (36 sts). Move marker.
Round 7: *2 sc in next st, 1sc in next st*repeat around. (54 sts). Move marker.
Round 8: Ā sc in each chain stitch around. (54 sts). Break yarn and fasten off.
Make 2 heads.
Ears.
Round 1: Magic ring with brown color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)
Round 2: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (12 sts)
Round 3: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts)
Round 4:Ā sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts)
Then 5 sc and ss. Break yarn and fasten off.
Make 4 ears.
Glasses.
Ch 14 with brown color yarn, ss in the 1st ch, ch 17, ss in the 14th st. Break yarn.
Scarf.
For the 1st part.
Row 1: ch 22 with burgundy color yarn, dc in the 3rd st from the hook, *dc in the next 2 sts with yellow color yarn, dc in the next 2 sts with burgundy color yarn* repeat till the end. Break yarn and fasten off.
For the 2nd part:
Row 1: ch 15 with burgundy color yarn, dc in the 3rd st from the hook, *dc in the next 2 sts with yellow color yarn, dc in the next 2 sts with burgundy color yarn* repeat till the end. Break yarn and fasten off.
Assembling.
Sew the ears to the heads using brown color yarn.Ā Sew the glasses with brown color yarn. Sew the sign of Harry with the burgundy color yarn. And then sew the scarf with the burgundy color yarn.
So you have 2 heads with ears: one head is with decoration, other is plain. Sew 2 heads together using needle, white and brown color yarn.
And make the hair with brown color yarn.
Give the hair shape with scissors and sew some stitches with brown color yarn to fix the hair.
Use the pattern with red color hair and without glasses to make the best friend of Harry Potter.
