The best time of life is childhood. That’s why so many of us like Peter Pan – he is always a boy and his childhood is endless. Hope you will like the Pater Pan pattern and you will add him to your Mouse collection.

PATTERN.

Materials:

  • Any cotton 100% Weight/Yardage 50g/137yds: Cascade Ultra Pima Fine, 100% cotton or Schachenmayr Catania, etc.
  • Size D/3 (3 mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Abbreviations (US terms):

ch – chain

st st – slip stitch

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

sk – skip

st(s) – stitch(es)

Skill Level: Easy

Instructions.

Head.

Round 1: Magic ring with green color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)

Round 2: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (12 sts)

Round 3: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 4: sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts). Move marker.

Round 5: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st* repeat around. (36 sts). Move marker.

Round 6: sc in each chain stitch around. (36 sts). Move marker.

Round 7: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st* repeat around. (54 sts). Move marker.

Round 8: sc in each chain stitch around. (54 sts). Change the color and continue working with black color yarn.

Make 2 heads.

Ears.

Round 1: Magic ring with orange color, 6 sc in ring and pull tight. (6 sts)

Round 2:  2 sc in each chain stitch around. (12 sts)

Round 3: 2 sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts)

Round 4: sc in each chain stitch around. (24 sts)

Then 5 sc and ss. Break yarn and fasten off.

Make 4 ears.

Dress.

Round 1: Magic ring with light green color, chain 3, 8 dc in ring and pull tight. Turn. (9 sts)

Row 2:  Ch 3, 1 dc in the same st, *2 dc in next st* repeat 7 times (16 sts) Turn.

Row 3:  Ch 3, 1 dc in the same st, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st * repeat 7 times, (23 sts).

Row 4:  Sc each stitch around. Then sc in the 1st st, ch 3, 3 dc together. Break yarn and fasten off. Start working in the same st that you make the last dc, ch 4, 6 dc together. Break yarn and fasten off. Again start working in the same st that you make the last dc, ch 4, 4 dc together. Break yarn and fasten off.

Hat.

Row 1: with green color yarn skip next 7 sts, ch 6 in the next st, sc in the next st, hdc in the next st, dc in the next st,  tr in the next st,  dtr in the next st.  Now you have a small triangular with green color yarn on your hook, skip next 3 sts on the light green dress and sc in the next st (red arrow on the picture below),

sc in the next 2 sts, ss in the next st, turn.

Row 2: skip 1st st, ss in the next st, sc in the next 6 sts, 3 sc in the next st (1st red arrow on the picture below), sc in the next st, hdc in the next 2 sts, sc in the next st, sc in the same st, that you made, when started making the hat (2nd red arrow on the picture below). Break yarn and fasten off.

Feather.

Row 1: with red color yarn chain 5, sc in the next 2 sts, hdc in the next st, ss in the last st. Break yarn.

Dirk.

Row 1: with brown color yarn ch 6, sc in the next 5 sts, ch 2, sc in the next 4 sts, break yarn and fasten off.

Then skip 1st st (red arrow on the picture below) and ch 2, hdc in the next st. Break yarn.

Belt.

Row 1: with dark brown color yarn ch 17, sc in the next 16 sts, break yarn and fasten off.

Assembling

Sew the belt and the dirk with dark brown color yarn on the dress and the feather with red color yarn on the hat as you can see at the picture below:

Sew the ears using needle and orange color yarn as you can see at the pictures below. Sew the dress with light color yarn and the hat with green color yarn.

So you have 2 heads with ears. Sew them together using green and orange color yarn.
